2. Brief Course Introduction
Graduation Thesis course is taught in the first semester of senior year of college, it is one of the indispensable comprehensive application courses in college for those whose majors are Chinese Language and Literature. It aims at making a conclusion for the major, inspecting the grades and effects, applying the knowledge and literary attainment of Chinese Language and Literature, and writing an academic thesis. According to their papers, their thinking of scientific research and major application will be examined. To some extent, students will get the competence of research, thinking and applying if they do some jobs related to Chinese Language and Literature major and its relevant businesses. This course consists of some important parts, which include: choosing the paper’s title and teacher’s instruction, data collection and sorting, thesis proposal and thesis’ syllable design, teacher’s suggestion, preliminary assessment and re-assessment, live question & answer, assessments from teacher’s group. This course requires that students abide academic discipline, form an academic style, train as a professional research talent.
