2. Brief Course Introduction

     Chinese Classical Literature course is a Discipline Basic Course in college for those whose majors are Chinese Language and Literature (business secretary). This course mainly focus on the historical evolution and development rule of Chinese classical literature, which vividly illustrates the traditional skills and basic cultural spirit of Chinese literature. It is helpful for students to learn the wealth of ideas and exquisite artistic techniques of Chinese classical literary works, to enhance the reading competence, to strengthen the ability of appreciation and criticism. What’s more, by studying the life experience, literary schools, social ethos and specific creating background, students’ traditional cultural awareness will be unconsciously improved; by appreciating, reciting and analyzing these excellent classical literary works, even imitating of ancient literary works, students’ literary awareness and competence of writing will be improved. Sorting out the historical conditions of the literary works will be of benefit to  students to conclude the development rule of literature, to raise their desires of bringing up innovation and  carrying forward traditional culture.
