2. Brief Course Introduction
This course develops the ability of making documentaries. First, students can learn the concepts, schools and genres of documentary. Through case study and discussion, they get comprehensive understanding of a documentary. Then students could choose the form, theme they find interesting and independently do a field study, planning and writing, filming, structuring narration and choosing editing style. The final assessment depends on the documentary worked by the students.
