The course focuses on cultivating the ability of planning TV programs for students. On the one hand, it requires students to collect information on current popular TV programs and analyze them; on the other hand, students are asked to summarize its elements devoted to its popularity and figure out the social context and psychological origins behind the programs through analysis. In the first half of the course, it focuses on case brief and case study while the latter half will be organized to plan a program and design and make samples from the perspective of broadcast design as the final assessment method.
