TV-program Making is the core of specialized course of Radio and TV directing majors. This course introduces three steps of TV- program making: First step----shooting text on early stage and forming conception of direction, raising funds for shooting and getting prepared; Second step----shooting on site; Last step----making sounds and pictures of TV-programs on a later stage. Combing theory with practice, this course presents three methods of TV-program making: ENG(ELECTRONIC NES GATHERING), ESP(ELECTRONIC STUDIO PRODUCTION)and EFP(ELECTRONIC FIELD PRODUCTION), covering the whole process and basic features of making TV-programs. Attention should be equally paid to cultivating students’ ability of both professional production and artistic creation. It requires students not only to grasp the main idea of making video, radio, and TV programs, but also to finishing this making process independently. Specifically, students should know how to edit videos. They are expected to flexibly apply their knowledge learned in class into practice of making radio, video and TV-programs.
