“Programme Criticism” is a comprehensive application course for the freshmen of Broadcasting and Hosting Major. It helps students to do better job in analysis, research and argument, which can be seen in the ecology, program and language of broadcasting television, and other aspects related to the hosting art. The course is focused on paper writing. Students can select major-related topics independently or the topics given to them by their tutors. Each of them is to accomplish an academic papers about 3,000 to 5,000 word long by collecting data, drafting outline, analyzing demonstrating, and finalizing. Through the course, they know how to do research in subjects like news communication and art.
