Course Description:
This course is the basic subject for the students majoring in Broadcasting and Hosting, and also supplementary course for TV Broadcasting and Hosting and Basic Performance. It aims to help students improve their aesthetic taste of image design for hosts, and their capabilities in figure make-up and style design considering the characteristics of the TV programs and the personal traits of the hosts.
Image Design plays an auxiliary role in the whole curriculum system for students majoring in Broadcasting and Hosting. It is essential for student to take part in these specialist courses.
By both classroom teaching and practical training, this course will expose students to the basic knowledge of Image Design, theories and principles of Make-up skills, basic steps and methods of make-up, types of make-up and choices of make-up style, make-up design for various TV programs and occasions, matching hairstyle and costume, and so on. And it also offers students the knowledge of the factors that influence the make-up of the figure.
