“Programme Creation” is a comprehensive application course for the freshmen of Broadcasting and Hosting Major. It helps students understand the program form of broadcasting television and have better program planning and creativity. In this course, students study and discuss good program forms to acquire basic knowledge first. Then acting as hosts, they create different TV programs and write papers of program planning these shows. Through the training, students know well of the importance of program form, media features and host’s characteristics. They come to know how to plan a broadcasting program, and how to make a host-centered program. Also, they improve skills in planning, collecting and editing through writing papers.
