TV Announcing & Hosting is a core specialized course for juniors majored in broadcasting and hosting, which included two parts of ‘TV program broadcasting’ and ‘TV program hosting’. The main content and objectives of this course are as follows: First, guiding by the talent demand of the contemporary broadcasting and hosting, giving students an understanding of the broadcast features of TV broadcasting & hosting through synthetic interpretation and practical training; second, skillful mastery of the ability of broadcasting & hosting programs such as the categories of news, commentary, social education, interviewing and entertainment by a simulated training in the category of the main style of TV programs so as to adapt the demand of contemporary TV media Third, mastering the new trends of the development of TV programs and training students to have the ability of program planning and editing. Based on the status of the evolving media in TV broadcasting & hosting, this course aims at training students a professional ability in completing works of TV program broadcasting & hosting so as they meet the demand of TV media.
