“Internship” is a compulsory subject for the undergraduate students of Broadcasting and Hosting Major. As a comprehensive application course, it falls on the last academic year when students have finished learning all the basic and specialized courses. It is necessary for our undergraduate program and teaching plan, for it helps students have better practice, as well as to better cope with problems and make full use of the skills and knowledge acquired in the class. This is also crucial for students to accomplish the studies of undergraduate program. Students are to work in the publicity of radio and TV station, new media, and independent programs by finding internship independently or at school’s recommendation. During the course of planning and editing, making and broadcasting, students not only combine knowledge with practice, but also realize the fact that more efforts should be made before becoming a professional. In short, the internship is a bridge constructed between the school studies and students’ future careers.
