Non-parametric statistics is a branch of mathematical statistics and a specialized course in statistics. Non-parametric statistical methods do not depend on the overall distribution and its parameters. It is suitable for various types of data. It has good stability because it makes statistical inference of general assumption and it is more effective than parametric statistical methods when the overall distribution is unknown. The main contents of the course include: basic concept of non-parametric statistics, method of estimation, method of test, estimation and testing of the overall distribution.
