    2. Brief Course Introduction

This course will provide the students with basic concepts, principles, methods and theoretical system of intermediate-level microeconomics via both analytic and mathematical approach. It will train the students economic way of thinking, enhance their analytical capability of economic problems using economic theories. The course will include: The Theory of the Consumer, The Theory of the Firm, The Theory of Markets, Basics of Game Theory, A Brief Introduction to General Equilibrium Theory, and Externalities and Public Goods, etc. Many examples of how to use the theory described here will be discussed.
