2. Course Introduction
“Practice of International Trade” is a specialized course for all majors in foreign economic and trade professionals of universities in China, characterized by being professional, international and comprehensive.
Through studying this course, students will master some basic knowledge, principles and skills in the field of international transaction. Based on international transactions, this course introduces the related international regulations and laws, such as Contract Law, The United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods, Incoterms, Documentary L/C Uniform Rules and Uniform Rules for Collections. With the help of case studying in class, students can put the learned knowledge into practice of international trade. Also, perceptual knowledge will be enhanced for the contract, bills, trade terms, international shipment, insurance and relative documents. In addition, foreign language, an indispensable tool of the course, will be integrated into the teaching process of international trade practice
