2. Brief Course Introduction
Financial Analysis Software is one of the important basic courses for each major in the Department of Financial Engineering; it is arranged in the fourth semester. The previous courses include Computer Application Basis, Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics, Financial Engineering, Econometrics and so on. It is not only an important basic tool to solve financial problems using computer software, but also conducive to deeply understand Financial Engineering, Econometrics and other related courses. The main content of this course is the application of Eviews software in Finance. The topics include the following important sections: review of probability statistics; introduction of the Eviews software; analysis of the stationary time series model using Eviews; analysis of the non-stationary time series model using Eviews.
