Xie Gencheng

Xie Gencheng, is a doctor of economic and a professor of law. At present, he serves as the professor of law, postgraduate tutor and head of Department of Economic Law of School of Law in Guangdong University of Finance and Economic. He is mainly engaged in teaching and researches of science of economic law and science of social law. He also holds the concurrent positions of review and achievement appraisal expert for projects supported by National Social Science Foundation, a standing director of China Agricultural Economic Law Research Institute, a standing director of Agricultural and Rural Legal History Institute of China Law Society, a member of China Law Society Social Law Studies Institute, a member of Subject Judging Committee of National Chinese Core Periodicals, an expert for achievement appraisal of projects supported by social science foundations of Jiangsu, Hubei and Shaanxi province, an expert for major executive decision consulting and demonstration of Guangdong province, a member of Expert Consultation Committee of Guangdong People's Procuratorate, a member of Guangdong Consumer Council Expert Committee, an expert for review and achievement appraisal of Guangdong Social Science Foundation Projects and an expert for review and achievement appraisal of Guangdong Scientific Planning and Research Projects. He published 18 works such as Law of Market Economy; published more than 70 papers such as Difficulties Confronted by Village Self-governance at Present and Path Arrangement; and directed 10 scientific projects such as Research on Rural Legal Problems above provincial level. Research on Approach and Legal Protection for Income Increase of Farmers of Henan Province and Research on Agricultural Innovation System and Legal Protection Thereof were respectively awarded the first prize in outstanding achievement award of Henan social sciences and the third prize in Henan scientific and technological advancement award.
