2. Brief course information

Analysis and Designing of Logistics Systems is the professional elective course of undergraduate and graduate. It is also one of important courses for graduate students in the major of logistics and supply chain management. The course includes an overview of the logistics system, the basic theory of logistics system designing and analyzing, logistics and transportation system designing and analyzing, logistics information system designing, logistics system dynamics models, evaluation and optimization of logistics system, and so on. Through studying this course, students can master the basic preliminary concepts, the theories and methods of logistics system designing and analyzing, understanding the basic structure of social logistics system and enterprise logistics systems, the logistics system and its nodes planning and designing, transport network designing methods. On the basis of fundamental theories, there are also advanced projects to learn, such as logistics systems modeling, evaluation, optimization and integration as well as the logistics system simulation modeling methods, which can take the students to a higher level.
