Distribution and distribution center is one of the core courses in the logistics management curriculum, the objectives are: through the theoretical and skill studying, students can master the skills of the main business processes of the distribution center, and have the capability to do: (1) practical ability such as order processing, stocking and storage, distribution and processing, picking and replenishment, picking and shipping, returning management and so on. (2) Layout planning and designing of the distribution center; (3) optimizing the distribution routes; (4) job performance evaluation of the distribution center. The goals focus on student’s job-oriented abilities, such as the students' vocational and technical ability, practical ability, and taking the social needs as the standpoint. The course established a teaching system, which took the task as the core, the business processes as the main line, and the professional competence as the center, and formed a teaching mode: theory teaching + business visit + social practice simulation training + survey + out-school internships.
