2. Brief Course Introduction

    Quality management is the fundamental course for the students majoring in business administration. The purpose of course is to make students master the concept, methods and tools of quality management, systematically apply these knowledge to practical situations At the same time, the students should be able to identify, analyze, improve and control quality problem, as well as  have the ability undertake jobs about quality management. The purpose of the course: （1）based on the combined teaching of lectures and case studies, the course makes the students master theoretical knowledge and operation skills, have the ability to analyze and solve practical problems of quality management in the field of production and service, especially have the ability of using common statistical methods to analyze and solve the quality problem;（2） the course lays necessary foundation for the students’ continue learning and engagement in business management activities. Quality management enhances the students’ adaptability in management practice and develops their creative ability, as well as cultivates them as senior management personnel.
