2. Brief Course Information

     Production and Operations Management includes plans, organizations and controls for the production activities of manufacturing industries and service activities in non-manufacturing ones. The contents include production and operations strategies, the design, run, maintenance and improvement of the production and operations system. The course is one of the core courses in Business Administration Major. Through study of this course, students should have at least the following benefits：（1）To recognize the importance of Operations Management in the business of enterprises and grasp the relationship between production and operations departments and others （such as finance, marketing, purchasing, human resources management, etc.）.（2）To understand the contents and master some theories, methods of the course.（3）Be aware of the difficulties and challenges about operations management in the current upgrade of all types of enterprises.（4）To obtain skills of production and operations management and be able to analyze and solve practical problems in the operations management through the use of related knowledge.
