Student Competitions

In order to promote our students' professional skills, innovation consciousness, practical ability and team spirit, School of Geography & Tourism holds a number of competitions such as Tourism Image Design Contest, Geographical Culture Presentation Competition and Exhibition Theme Planning Contest, etc. Meanwhile, School of Geography & Tourism attaches great importance to selecting outstanding students to compete in off-campus competitions. Our students have won more than 50 awards in recent 5 years in provincial, national and international competitions, including:
1) two Second Class Prizes and three Third Class Prizes for the "Challenge Cup" National College Student Curricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition;
2) two Second Class Prizes and one Third Class Prize for the "Challenge Cup" National College Student Business Plan Competition;
3) two First Class Prizes for the Mathematical Contest in Modeling;
4) five Second Class Prizes and one Third Class Prize for the Geographical Culture Presentation Competition in South China Universities;
5) one First Class Prize, five Second Class Prizes and one Third Class Prize in national college students exhibition competitions;
6) one Third Prize for the Guangdong Hospitality Vocational English Speaking Contest;
7) one Gold Award and two Second Class Prize for the Guangdong College Student Odyssey of the Mind.
