Public Utility Management (Urban Management)

I.Training Objective

The aim of the program is to make students grasp the basic theory and  knowledge of modern urban management, sociology and  economics. After 4 years' study, the students will achieve legal attainment and possess modern public spirit, the ability of mastering basic methods  and skills of modern urban construction and management. The students will be engaged in business management and comprehensive management work in municipal departments of every level, institutions and various non-governmental organizations. The program is committed to promote the students' capacity of social investigation and information processing , language and writing skills,  the ability of social interpersonal communication, as well as coordination ability.

IV.Credit Requirements

Students are required to take 155 credits (except the extracurricular courses credits), including 53 credits for the  general required coursed, 9 credits for general elective courses, 40 credits for discipline based courses, 34 credits for  professional required courses, 8 credits for  professional limited selection courses , 34 credits for professional elective courses, 11 credits for comprehensive application courses. At the same time, students need to get 10 credits of quality development, and accomplish their study in Health Education for College Students.
