Applied Psychology

Guangdong University of Finance & Economics was approved by the Ministry of Education to set applied psychology undergraduate program of Applied Psychology In December 2008 so as to meet the needs of society and began to enroll students who majored in Applied Psychology in 2009. Students will be awarded a bachelor degeree of  Science  through four years of study. Guangdong University of Finance & Economics approved the establishment of the Department of Applied Psychology in December 2012. Now, the department has six full-time teachers, including one professor, two associate professors, three lecturers, and there are five teachers who hold Doctor's degree. The school got 7  seven  fund research projects. The total funds were 530,000 yuan. We enroll only one class each year with about 40 students, insisting on small classes teaching so that every student can receive the best education. We aim to train psychological service professionals. And the employment rate of graduates was 100%. Graduates mainly work as consultants in psychological counseling agency, personnel managers in human resources in companies, mental health teachers in primary and secondary school, and social workers in social work organizations.
