Radio and Television Editing and Directing

Being the first Radio and Television program in Guangdong province's Arts professional entrance admission, this program meets the needs of our province's economic and social development, adapts to the bi-directional trend of both the media industry specialization and  media convergence. Oriented by social needs, this program relies on the feature background of GDUFE,  acting according to the rules of training broadcasting talents. It gets support and fine reaction from Broadcasting, Art, Editing and Publishing, as well as Journalism circles. This program aims to produce capable, talented broadcasting professionals, who are not only able to design new media content, but also able to do the marketing job traditionally and furthermore creatively. At present, a group of scholars with commitment to teaching and academic pursuits are working in it. Having graduated from different colleges and institutes in China and overseas, they contribute to the diversity of field researches, forming a reasonable structure of teaching in Radio & TV Editing and Directing. Drawing on the effective teaching force, students in the program, have been awarded in a number of national or international contests. The program currently has been sponsored as one of the featured specialties in strategic emerging industries of Guangdong.
