Teaching Objectives
This course focuses on theoretical research. The content of this course includes: how to form the socialism with Chinese characteristics? Why this appears? How to establish the Five in One in promoting the process of the socialism with Chinese characteristics? What is the theoretical foundation of Five in One? How to correctly understand and answer various opinions in the way of reforms? How to correctly understand the developmental direction of socialist transformation. This course not only concentrates on the depth of theoretical demonstration, but also focuses on the analysis of practical development. By studying this course, students can have a better understanding on of the basic theory of the socialism with Chinese characteristics. Besides, this course explores the historical logic and general rule of the socialism with Chinese characteristics; properly interpret the great practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics; articulate the trend of the socialism with Chinese characteristics ; research a series of theories and practical subjects of the socialism the Chinese characteristics.
Teaching Contents
This course systematically researches the development of the theory and practice of socialism of Chinese characteristics. The main content of this course include: Lesson 1, The previous past and present of socialism. Researches the essential issues, opportunities and challenges of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Lesson 2, basic theory of the economic system reform, the basic framework of the socialist market economy, the development of non-public sectors of the economy. Lesson 3, based on the interpretation of several categories of political philosophy, this course discusses Marxs democracy and the future of Chinas socialist democracy. Lesson 4, analysis of the strategic importance of cultural construction, and discussing how to maintain a clear cultural subject consciousness. Lesson 5, What is social harmony? What is social governance? What is the relationship between the social harmony and social governance? Lesson 6, China should strengthen the national ideology construction; discuss the future of inner-party democracy; Chinas new political interpretation of anti-corruption.
