The purpose of the course is to help the students to be familiar with the professional terms and concepts of the related subjects through teaching them reading, explaining, and translating related professional English articles, to improve their ability to read and understand the professional English Literature, to make them have the ability to perform simple international communication in the field of their own work and to write a simple application of their related work in English language. Through the course of teaching, we are looking forward to achievements as follows: 1. Grasp the basic concepts, logical clues and analysis methods in various fields; 2. Understand and analyze the original professional English materials; 3. Access and retrieve the original documents in English to form an international perspective. |

Teaching Contents | ||||||||||
This course introduces a wide range of professional papers in the field of public administration. Students are required to master the basic vocabulary in the professional field of public management, to learn in order to practice. The selected texts are targeted at public management professional field, not only to allow students to be familiar with the basic vocabulary of the professional area, but also to learn some good, new public management ideas. This course provides the students with the opportunity to practice, including the simple spoken language training and the simple application of writing. The course materials can be used in during a school year, about 144 academic hours, a semester of about 72 academic hours. However, according to the actual situation, we have arranged for 36 academic hours, so we only choose the part of the texts for classroom teaching, and the rest for after-class self-study. | ||||||||||
