Through taking this course, students can master the parties, the role of property insurance, the basic principles, types, insurance responsibility, exclusions, period of liability, additional risks and other information, familiar with the property insurance contract signed and significance and performance.
Teaching Contents
-CIP This course not only introduces the basic principles of property insurance and a variety kind of property insurance in China, but makes a more detailed analysis for the marine insurance. The main content includes the following several aspects: the history of the generation and development of Property Insurance and its basic characteristics and meaning; the knowledge of Property Insurance contract; the history of Fire Insurance, a comparison between domestic property insurance and American home insurance; the basic characteristics of the Transport insurance, the basic concept of general average, ship-owners mutual assurance, salvage charges, collision liability and motor vehicle operation; the different kinds of Cargo Insurance and its characteristics, the basic content of Marine Cargo insurance in China; the relevant concepts and characteristics of Engineering Insurance, and the new content of international engineering insurance plan--CIP project; the difference between Credit Insurance and Guarantee Insurance and main types of business.
