Standard Economics is a technical economics course which is designed for postgraduates whose major is Technology Economy and Management. Standard economics is the branch of economic study to research the development mode, development costs, application mode and application effect of the standard called "technology patent pool" ,and the core task of this course is to research the economics rules of standards and standardization. Standard is a set of technologies, which has a good reputation of "technology patent pool". Technology innovation and upgrading is the eternal theme of technological progress, such as the development of communication technology from 2G to 3G, 4G has also begun to be used for commercial purposes. Technical progress is bound to cause upgrading of standards, development of standards needs investment, and the replacement of standard is also connected with, so the replacement of standards is the comprehensive reflection of technological progress and the result of social comprehensive cost choice. Whether standard development or replacement all have one selection problem of optimal direction or optimal project. The application of standards is the productivity transformation process of technology collection in the concept of social economy collaborative management, this transformation will form a huge technical collaborative management productivity, and to produce micro economic benefits and a huge macro social economic effect. But if the purpose of standardized application deviated from the aim of standardization, once format technical barriers to trade would produce great side effects to the social economic development. Analyze the macro and micro economic effects of the application of standards and pursue the strategy research that brings the best economic effect is the center of gravity of standard economic research. By studying the standard economics course, on the basis of studying the technology economics and productivity economics theoretical and empirical cases, highlighting the application of synergetic and collaborative management theory in standard economic methodology, and combining it with our country's standardization strategy and the reform practice of popularization and application of technology standards, it aims to train the student's ability to analyze and solve the economical problems involved in the development, popularization and application of technological standards.
