On the basis of learning the course of tourism and leisure, aiming at understanding the phenomenons and problems in cultural tourism, this course, combining interpretation of some examples, systematically introduces basic knowledge and theories,cutting-edge issues and the research methods in cultural tourism from a single- to multidisciplinary and then cross-disciplinary perspective. This is helpful to improve professional quality and practical level of postgraduates majoring in tourism management by broadening their horizons and training their cognitive and innovative capacity. By learning this course, students are considered to: 1.Grasp the basic knowledge and theory of cultural tourism; 2.Understand the research methods and cutting-edge issues of cultural tourism; 3.
