Based on the Management Science Research Method and Research on Regional Tourism Development courses, According to tourism market data, data acquisition and statistical analysis, combined with Research Report and thesis writing, the course focuses on the basic theories and methods of tourism market research and statistics, the distinction and connection between quantitative and qualitative research. It is aimed at training tourism management graduate students' practical research abilities, data analysis ability, scientific research ability, improvement of their practical skills and their scientific research level. Through teaching this course, the students achieve: 1.Understanding of economics, management, psychology, sociology and other disciplines and tourism market research, the basic theory of statistics, as well as tourism market research and statistical research. 2.Master the tourism market research, and quantitative and qualitative research ideas and basic methods, including questionnaire, scale development, as well as unstructured interviews and other data, materials acquisition methods. 3.Understand the basic knowledge and basic methods of tourism statistics in the tourism market. 4.Master SPSS, E-VIEWS , Mat lab and other basic mathematical statistics software applications. 5.Be familiar with the writing ideas, standards and methods of the Tourism Market Research Report. |
