On the basis of understanding the regional tourism consumer market, tourism resources & environment, tourism industry conditions and tourism public service, aiming at phenomena and problems in regional tourism planning and scheming, this course, combining interpretation of related classic cases, systematically introduces basic theories, research methods, cutting-edge issues and practice from a single- to multi- and then cross-disciplinary perspective. Economics, management science, geography, environmental science, urban planning science, landscape architecture, aesthetics and other fields of knowledge and methods are used during this course that will practice of tourism planning to train scientific thinking and the ability of innovation, and enhance the professionalism and practical level. By learning this course, students are expected to: 1.Understand tourism planning and scheming; 2.Master theories and methods of tourism planning; 3.Be familiar with the procedures and specifications of tourism planning; 4.Be familiar with types and features of tourism planning; 5. Master the specifications and methods of writing a tourism planning report. |
