On the basis of regional tourism consumer market, tourism resources & environment, tourism industry conditions and tourism public service, aiming at understanding problems in regional tourism planning, development and management, this course, combines interpretation of related classic cases, systematically introduces basic theories, research methods, cutting-edge issues and business practice from a single to multidisciplinary and then cross-disciplinary perspective. Economics, management science, geography and other areas of knowledge and methods are used in this course to train scientific thinking and the ability of innovation, as well as enhancing professionalism on a practical level. By learning this course, students will: 1.Be familiar with regional tourism consumer market , the theories and methods to assess resources environment, industry conditions and public service; 2.Get acquainted with regional tourism items, products, industrial planning , the theories and methods of brand image and marketing communication planning; 3.Be familiar with the regional tourism consumer market and the theories and methods of resources & environment, items, products and industrial development; 4.Be familiar with the theories and methods of regional(cross-region - country - province - city - county - township - village - resorts) tourism management; 5.
