Teaching Objectives
Taking under consideration the knowledge of students who studied Principles and Methods of Tourism,  Tourism Consumer Behavior Research the course aims to analyze basic theories and analysis methods of tourism consumer behaviors and inspires the students to analyse and solve the  existing problems of tourism management and to make them learn to analyze the basic methods of tourist behavior, based on the theory of consumer behavior, tourism experience, practice of reform and development of China.
Through the course the students
1. Understand the basic concepts, logical clue and analysis methods of tourism consumer behavior.
2. Simplify and abstract the complex consumer behaviors problems to analyze the basic decision problems for maximizing the utility economic behavior unde constraint conditions.
3. Provide the solution to the problems both theoretical and practical
Teaching Contents
This course is based on Chinas social and cultural background and systematically introduces the basic theory and basic knowledge of the domestic and foreign tourism consumer behavior. Through the analysis of the psychological characteristics of tourism consumers, tourism motivation, perception, attitude and other aspects of acquiring information, decision-making, post- purchase evaluation and other aspects of law, for the tourism enterprises to develop marketing strategies to provide a theoretical basis.
