Teaching Objectives
Through taking part in the course, students can understand and master the basic theories, knowledge and approaches of finance more deeply and systematically. In addition, they can learn the international frontier dynamic of finance well. At the same time the essential financial knowledge can be accumulated for students and the necessary professional knowledge framework can be formed. Last but not the least, it is supposed to provide the thoughts of solutions to problems theory and the practice
Teaching Contents
The course is mainly aimed at introducing some financial theories and approaches, analyzing and solving the existing problems by applying financial analysis tools. It includes the following contents: the causerie on financial management viewpoints; transaction cost theory and financial innovation; the analysis of financial statements; the situation, contemporary issues and policies of the Chinese capital market; the change of financial theories; institutional finance; behavioral finance; corporate governance.
