Teaching Objectives
"management science frontier" course sought by analyzing the current situation and developments in the management of scientific research considering the background knowledge and capability characteristics of management science and engineering graduate, so that to make the students understand the main ideas and disciplines of management development trend of science. From the discipline of development law and studying characteristics, the course makes the students forward think the planning disciplines to explore important scientific questions of management science, cutting-edge directions and related policies.
Teaching Contents
The aim of this course is to enable students: Understand the current situation and development trends of management science; Learn the basic concepts and theories of modern management science framework; Learn management development history; Master the basic principles and methods of modern management science; Master modern management techniques and genres; Explore the new fields of management science research; Follow the frontier issues and trends both at home and abroad of management science and engineering research. This course makes the students have a basic understanding of management of science and engineering. Through various case analysis and discussions, this course guides the students to develop scientific analytical thinking, and learn how to apply frontier theories and methods of computer science to the relevant academic research in order to lay the foundation of their thesis writing.
