VARCoupla Course Objectives: Through taking part in this this course, the students should realize the following objectives: Understand and master the development path of asset pricing; Understand the assessing methods of financial risk; Master the core issues of corporate finance development and research methods of analyzing the financial market structure and investment portfolio issues; Master the core ideas of Financial Accelerator Theory, Wealth Effect, RMB Internationalization and anti-poverty issue. Concrete requirements of this course include: Mastering the VAR Model and Coupla Model; Understanding the optimization strategy of investment portfolio insurance; Understanding and applying the multiple effects of financial acceleration and the results of the wealth effect; Master the Endogenous Financial Development Theory; Understand the relationship among financial frictions, financial inclusion and livelihood development. |

Study on Financial Frontier Issues is an exploratory course which can help the students in the finance major to understand current financial frontier developments. Its major contents include: financial frontier issues, such as: the development path of asset pricing model in the field of micro-finance, investment portfolio selection, structural features of financial market, financial risk assessment, strategy optimization of investment portfolio insurance and corporate finance; issues in the field of macro-finance, including: RMB Internationalization, Wealth Effect, Financial Accelerator Theory and anti-poverty issue in the development of finance. Through learning on this course, the students are required to master the financial frontier theories comprehensively, understand the core literatures and famous scholars in each field and master the possible applicability of these theories in China. | ||||||||||
