Ding Yougang

Ding Yougang, male, born in Wuwei, Anhui Province in 1969, doctor of management (accounting), professor, doctoral supervisor, now serves as a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Vice President of GDUFE. 

He studied in Anhui Polytechnic University and Jinan University successively. He worked at Anhui Polytechnic University from 1992 to 1996 and at Jinan University from 1999 to January 2021. Since 2012, he  successively served in Jinan University as the Deputy Dean of Accounting Department, Dean of Accounting Department, Deputy Director of International School, General Secretary of the Second Party Branch of Graduate School of Management, Director of MPAcc Education Center, Director of Finance and State-owned Assets Management Department, and Member of the Party Committee of Jinan University. Besides, he is a CPA(practice) and has been listed as "Accounting Academic Talent" by the Ministry of Finance and included in the National Accounting Talents Special Plan, and he is rewarded the National Advanced Accounting Worker. From March 2000 to December 2001, he worked as a research assistant at China Finance and Accounting Research Center of Hong Kong Polytechnic University. From July 2005 to March 2006, he was a visiting scholar of the university of Michigan.

      Main research areas: risk management, corporate governance and management accounting. He has published more than 60 essays in domestic academic journals and periodicals such as Economic Research Journal, Journal of Financial Research, Accounting Research, Public Finance Research, Taxation Research, Auditing Research, Financial Research Report, and Statistical Research,etc., and has published over 10 academic treatises, such as the series of Cases of Companies’ Reorganization in China. Moreover, he presided over more than 20 research projects, such as key projects supported or funded by the National Social Science Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Humanities and Social Science Foundation of Ministry of Education, sub-project of a cooperative program jointly funded by Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, Social Science Foundation of Guangdong Province and National Natural Science Foundation of China, and key projected supported by the Ministry of Finance, the Auditing Office, and Guangdong Provincial Finance Department. His research findings have won many awards from China Accounting Society, Guangdong Accounting Society and Guangdong Finance Society, and meanwhile, as a teacher, his teaching achievements has gained him the Guangdong Province Special Prize of Teaching Achievements , First Prize and Second Prize successively.

      Social Positions: He once served as a consultant expert for the Internal Control Standards Committee, Ministry of Finance , Vice-Chairman of Guangdong Accounting Society, Vice-Chairman of Guangzhou Audit Society, etc., Currently, he is the Director of China Audit Society, Member of Internal Control Committee of Accounting Society of China, Standing Director of the Sixth Council of Guangdong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Vice-Director of Educational Accounting Society of Guangdong, Vice-Director of Guangdong Health, Finance and Accounting Committee, Vice-Chairman of Guangzhou Society of Certified Public Accountants.
