Du Chengming

Du Chengming, PhD in law, professor of law, tutor of doctoral degree candidates at Wuhan University, vice president of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics (GDUFE). He is responsible for international affairs and undergraduate teaching affairs.

He studied in Central China Normal University and Wuhan University Successively. After he finished his postgraduate study in 1991, he was employed by China University of Geosciences. In 1996, he joined the Guangdong University of Business Studies (GUBS), where he was appointed as Secretary of Department of Humanity and Social Sciences, Secretary of School of Humanity and Communication, Director of Academic Affairs Office and member of GUBS Committee of CPC. From August 2002 to August 2003, he took part in the Senior Administrative Management Training Program at the University of Hawaii with a government sponsorship, and was awarded a diploma. Moreover, during that same period, he was also visiting scholar at the same university. In 2003, he was elected to be candidate in the provincial talent cultivation program of Guangdong Province. In October, 2007, he was appointed as the Vice President of GUBS. In 2012, he was chosen as one of the top 10 most excellent young and middle-aged lawyers in Guangdong. Dr. Du enjoys a special government allowance from the State Council from 2013. He was appointed as the Vice President of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics in 2013.
