Chinese Language and Literature

This program was set up in 2000 with Literature and Linguistics(in Chinese) as its backbone discipline, aiming at developing highly-qualified and application-oriented professionals who systematically master the basic theories and knowledge in Chinese language and literature  and possess capabilities of applied writing and literary creation. The program has also provided students with two research directions (Business Secretary and Creative Writing) to meet the needs of economic and market development. 

It has formed a reasonable structure of teaching  and has a strong faculty team, 8 of whom are titled full-professor, 12 of whom are titled associate professor, and 14 of whom have gained a doctor degree. High employment rate of  the program have maintained annually. In addition, there have been a larger number of students admitted to the graduate school of  top-notch universities both in China and abroad.
